Course Description:

This class will help one understand more about the different magical creatures.The students will get a field study on these magical creatures.They will visit the Forbidden Forest and around the castle to see magical creatures in their natural environment.

Class Objective:The course aims at learning about magical crearures in their real habitat.

Class Discussion:The class discussion is an important part of this class.It will help you learn.Don't post one liners.The class discussion will help you clear your doubts and learn well.If you have any other doubts please pm me.

Homework:It is a very essential component.It is optional.The students will have to post it in their journal.

Examination:There will be one exam in the term end.It will contain questions only from the course.It will be objective.

Syllabus:

Lesson One-Introduction and Centaurs

Lesson Two-Giant Squid and Unicorn

Lesson Three-Ghosts and Poltergists

Lesson Four-Grindylows and Merpeople

Final-Exam

Course Requirements:

There must be atleast three posts in each class.

The homeworks are moptional.

Grading Scale:

I will be using the traditional Grading system for this class. The highest amount of points you are able to achieve is 280

90-100% O (Outstanding) At least 250 points
80-89% E (Exceeds Expectations) At least 225 points
70-79% A (Acceptable) At least 195 points
60-69% P (Poor) At least 170 points
40-59% D (Dreadful) At least 110 points
0-39% T (Troll) not participated or below 110 points

You will be awarded grades according to number of posts.A total of three posts is necessary to get an acceptable.

The exam gives you upto 100 points.
